Quick but sad post.....

This is a very hard post to write:

I just wanted to thank everyone of you out there who said a prayer for
RALPH over the last month or so.
It meant the world to me and most importantly to the family.

Ralph's battle with end stage liver disease had been a long and tumultuous journey.
As quickly as the gift of being placed on the transplant list was given, it was taken away.

Ralph unfortunately developed a blood-borne infection that rendered him ineligible to be on the transplant list. Though the medical team put him on strong antibiotics, it was understood that his body would not hold out long enough for him to rally.

Blessedly, Ralph was lucid enough to be able to express his wishes to be made comfortable via a DNR order (or do not resuscitate order) to his family and caregivers.

This afternoon, while surrounded by all of his family and loved ones -
Ralph passed away peacefully.

Please continue to keep Ralph and their entire family in your thoughts and prayers!
They will most certainly need it.
